In the center of the shadowmancy auditorium was a single shadow that slowly morphed into a being. His yellow eyes watched the students as they entered, and the professor leaned against the desk with his claws tapping lightly against the wood. After everyone had entered, he glanced toward the door, which melted into the wall as if it had never existed.
"You have made your way into the Shadowmancy department," he murmured, shrugging away from the desk and approaching the front desks. He stared at the students with an eerie glare, eyes narrowed slightly. "My name is Professor Drake, and I will let you know now that I do not tolerate laziness or sloppiness here in my department. I expect only the best from you - and no cowardice in your behavior. Do not disappoint me, and you will grow to become strong and everyone shall fear you."
