Most of you have known simplicity and safety on campus, but no longer. Someone has been chosen to disrupt this idyllic existence. Someone has been given the choice, 'kill those who have wronged you, kill those who are innocent, kill all in your path, and you will be rewarded with what you have wanted your entire life.'

Sounds cryptic, doesn't it? Oh, it really isn't. See, I'm here to tell you that the phantasms have made a contract with one of your fellow students for a game. They are to kill one student a night. You, my dears, have the opportunity to find and execute the murderer by day.

Who will win? The murderer or the students? Well, we'll see, won't we? Heheh...

Murderer

A strange calm has settled over the academy, but with it comes a promise of a blood moon... an exciting new quarter has just begun, but such pleasantries never last forever. A murderer walks among you, one of your own -- a student -- and that murderer plans on striking every night to take a life.

All of you are scared. You don't want to be killed. So you get together by daylight and come up with suspects for who could be the murderer, and then you act as a mob and lynch the suspected student. But were they the killer? Or is the killer still among you? Who knows... though if the deaths stop, perhaps you were right. But if you weren't, you might have killed one of your innocent friends or classmates. Can you live with that?

We shall see who's left in the end... survival does crazy things to people...

Game Rules

- To sign up for this game, just post a comment with the link to your character's app. You need to be able to be active in the Discord Server to take part in the game.

- Sign ups end on 4/19 when the game begins its first meeting at 8:30 PM CST.

- There will be a meeting every day after the start date at 8:30 PM CST where you students can see who died the night before and cast your vote for who you want to lynch among you.

- One student who signs up will be selected as the killer.

- If you miss three or more meetings, your character is automatically killed off in the game.

- Every character present at a meeting needs to vote on a lynch victim. Abstaining from the vote is considered the same as not attending the meeting.

- Expect your character might die, and it might be incredibly brutal. Do not complain if your character is killed, try to argue that they're not really dead, or that they can't die.

-No metagaming. Just because you read someone's app doesn't mean your character knows the information you read.

-No acting against the group's lynching vote. If the group has decided who to lynch, your character may NOT attempt to lynch someone else.

- The murderer will work through this account:

The murderer will comment on a game player's profile each night and post how they died. The death will be reported in the morning.

- At the end of the game, the phantasms will resurrect everyone who was killed. You can decide if your character comes back with memory of their death or not.

- Maximum TWO characters per game player. Characters can be a student, reflection, or a visitor (provided reflections and visitors have a proper profile), but not professors. They might show up from time to time to kill abstaining voters though
