I'm the top student in the school, so I'm going to tell you a little about joining the academy as beginners (first years).
There are no "admission slots." Anyone who qualifies will be admitted. Unlike other groups, we don't have limited join slots. If you qualify to join, we'll let you in no matter how many other people join. Don't worry about competing with others.
Read all of the information for new joining people! Most important are the group rules. Be sure to read them carefully!
Look at the course catalog and choose your character's classes! You can view the courses here: Available Classes.. You must pick a minimum of one to be in the group, two if you want your character to advance to the next level (Intermediate), three max.
Fill out the beginner application and proofread it! 
Be sure to check for grammar problems, typos, and spelling. We do not accept people with lots of errors. Please note that we don't judge based on artwork; you can either have a friend draw it or commission someone to draw your picture, but there must be some sort of picture there. Pictures must be a minimum of base colored - no sketches or linearts without color.
Do not hit the "Join" button. If your application is accepted, we'll send you a join request.
Stop by the chatroom! As soon as your character is accepted, you'll be upgraded to Beginner class in the chatroom. You should start meeting new people, too!
